Priyanjali is a Clinical Psychologist registered under the Rehabilitation Council of India. She is also a UGC-NET JRF qualified Doctoral Researcher in Psychology at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.

Her research area includes exploring Neuropsychological and Electrophysiological correlates in children, adolescents, and young adults with Psychopathic traits and developing a suitable Neurofeedback treatment program for them. In simple terms, she is working with youth to understand how young people, who tend to behave in ways which can violate the law or the rights of other individuals, differ in terms of their brain activities. This will help in developing intervention for such youths so that ultimately we can prevent them from developing antisocial behaviors as adults. She believes, “the world can be a better place, where people can live in peace, with more empathy and acceptance, and less anger, trauma and suffering.”

In psycho-therapeutic practice, she focuses on neuroscience-informed psychotherapies. She also emphasizes on building a strong, non-judgmental, trusting therapeutic alliance by maximizing space, confidentiality, and comfort. This helps in promoting self-exploration, leading to symptom relief and personal growth. She has extensive clinical experience in several Government and private hospital setups. She also has experience in supervising, training and teaching young psychologists and students in both Calcutta University and Christ University, Bangalore. Priyanjali is passionate about enhancing awareness with Neuroscience-Informed Psychotherapeutic approaches. She believes that educating people is the only way of debunking myths and stigma around mental health. In her practice she works both with the youth and adult population.
